ABOUT
‘Alive and Happening’ is a Youth Camp started in 2003.
It is a camp where young people of ages 10 to 25, youth leaders and ministers come together regardless of gender, background, race and denomination for a time of reflection, empowerment, healing, discovery, training, enhancement of gifts and fullness of joy at the feet of Jesus.
The young people call it their Spiritual M.O.T!
EXPECTED OUTCOME FOR DELEGATES
Each camp, our expectation for all delegates is that they shall:

Discover the path that leads to a positive and abundant life in God, career and relationships.

Discover and be filled with immeasurable joy in God’s presence that strengthens them to remain strong in the face of challenges of life.

Discover the benefit of pleasures of life on God’s side, over the pleasures of the world.

Discover and cultivate relationships which are on the right side of God.

Discover and develop a life that pleases God.

TALENT SPOTTING - WORKSHOPS - MOVIES - RECREATION - BANQUET
All the activities are based on God’s will for His children in 3 John 2, ‘Beloved I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health just as your soul prospers’.
They are also in line with the five outcomes of the UK Government policy for Children and Young people called ‘Every Child Matters’ and ‘Youth Matters’. The outcomes are that all youth must have: Somewhere Safe to Go, Something to Do and Someone to Talk To. While all children must Stay Safe, Be Healthy, Achieve and Enjoy through learning, Enjoy Economic Wellbeing and make a Positive Contribution to Society.
All our youth workers are trained and vetted for safeguarding purposes.
Youth worker delegates will also have opportunity for in-house training to lead. We strongly advice that youth leaders or ministers come with their church or group for continuous training and continuity back at their churches or groups.
